About

Our campsite offers 3 fields of generously sized 10 metre-squared grass camping pitches - ample space for one car and a good sized family tent, however additional car parking is available if required.  Basic amenities are provided, i.e. water points, toilets and showers, but in addition you may wish to hire one of our cosy firepits with a supply of wood, some available to cook on or simply as a warming focal point to sit around and toast marshmallows.

We have two areas within our Woodland, nestled amongst the native Oak, Sycamore, Beech and Ash trees, for you to exclusively hire as a Family group booking. These secluded areas, along with their own large patch of grassland, can accommodate either 5 or 7 average tents (depending on size) and each have their own firepit encircled in stones as a perfect focal point for your gathering. The woodland clearings are available to hire as a whole only, but are perfect for a multi family camp-out (no adult-only groups). Please note that campsite rules regarding Quiet Time (i.e. no music and voices lowered between 10pm - 8am please), rubbish disposal etc still apply. - Please find an Availability Calendar on our Home Page.

Refreshments on site (Please note: the Bar and Catering are only available over the Bank Holidays, plus all weekends during School Summer Holidays, unless stated otherwise).
If you don't fancy faffing about with the BBQ, let us do the catering! On Friday evenings we offer delights such as Baked Potatoes with various fillings to suit most tastes and dietary persuasions, and on Saturday evenings we fire up our Outdoor Pizza Oven and cook freshly prepared pizzas for you while you wait. (We can offer Gluten-free pizza bases, but they are only suitable for Gluten intolerance, not a Gluten allergy.  Dairy-free cheese can be added if supplied by the customer, but please note the pizzas are still prepared and cooked in the same environment as the pizzas with dairy cheese). We also offer cooked breakfast rolls in the mornings, as well as hot and cold drinks, and snacks, throughout the day.  If it's a Bank Holiday, we'll also cater on a Sunday evening and Monday breakfast.

There is a Shepherd's Hut Bar on site, offering superb local ales, lager and cider, as well as Prosecco and Wine, Pimms and G&T's! So on a sunny Summer's evening, let the kids run around, play and make friends whilst you sit back and relax with some hot food and a glass of something - perfect.

Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind, and escape to the countryside. With no WiFi, and limited 5G (mobile signal is a little patchy!), why not bring a book, bring a bike, bring a board game!

Dogs and their well-behaved owners are very welcome, but we do ask for them to be kept on a lead at all times (the dogs!) and for all mess to be cleared up (both dogs and owners!).  Please be respectful of fellow campers, our livestock, and the beautiful Village in which we're located.  A short drive into the New Forest and you'll be spoilt for choice for stunning dog walks - your pooch will be in heaven!

To ensure we have happy campers we respectfully ask for any noise to be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 8am.  This means music off please and voices lowered, thank you. This applies in all areas of the campsite, and please remember that your children are your responsibility. Anyone causing a serious disturbance may be asked to leave the site with no refund.

Damerham is an active farming village and offers beautiful local walks; along the stream and up to the little church, and is also home to The Compasses Inn - a popular country pub serving superb lunches and evening meals. (Booking is advisable).
